The danger zones are 42 degrees Fahrenheit and up for a refrigerator and 10 degrees and up for a freezer. The alert will blink continuously until back in the safe zones if these units reach temperatures above 40 or 0 degrees.
The min and max buttons are designed to display the minimum and maximum temperatures that are stored in the thermometer's memory. This allows you to monitor the safety of your unit and the safety of the food inside.
