This 3” Clam Knife – (20129) is designed with clamshells in mind. The rigid carbon steel blade is perfect for prying open clamshells, which may be difficult to open with any other knife. This knife has a 3” long blade and a beechwood handle secured to the blade tang with sturdy brass rivets. Although this knife has a stamped blade, which is notoriously lesser quality than a forged blade, the design of the knife and the sturdy construction should provide adequate use in your commercial kitchen or home.
Additional Considerations
To prevent rusting, these products must be hand dried after washing. They are not coated like other Dexter-Russell items and will rust if air dried.
