This versatile, splashproof thermometer allows you to check surface temperatures with the infrared thermometer, which has a temperature range of -67 to 482 degrees Fahrenheit, and internal temperatures with the 4" long probe, which has a temperature range of -67 to 626 degrees Fahrenheit.
This Taylor 9306N thermometer has min/max and hold features and an auto-shutoff extends the battery life (powered by 2 AAA batteries, which are included). Two additional features are a HACCP check light warning system, which alerts the user to potential HACCP violations, and a handy carrying case!
